Why 2 sizes and what’s the difference?

What’s the blade shape?

The blade on our philosophical EDC TAO is the most utilitarian blade shape we could draw. It’s just a FFG blade that looks like every other blade in your kitchen drawer just in a front flipper high quality titanium supersteel budget folder.

Why front flipper?

We always wanted to do one and the simple fact that the flipper tab doesn’t interfere with the rest of the stuff you have in your pockets is simply amazing. We love traditional flippers and their tab that no matter how well executed is bound to find itself in a way of something.It catches like a hook at least once in a while. We’re not giving up on traditional flipper folders, we just wanted to try something new and the footprint of a closed pocket knife is so much more refined in a well done front flipper that we just had to give it a go.

Ambidextrous Deep Carry Pocket Clip

This time as opposed to the previous two models we had on Kickstarter, we decided to go with a deep carry pocket clip that is, you guessed it, ambidextrous. For those of you who prefer to carry on either right or left side, well now you can do that quite easily. We’ve heard what you want and we are delivering it in both TAO and Mini TAO. The illustration on the schematics image shows you how to switch carrying sides and move the pocket clip to the one you prefer.
